Outlook

James Spann, ABC 33/40, and Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa Chief Meteorologist said that we have “large areas of rain and snow continue across Alabama this morning. NWS Birmingham has expanded the "winter weather advisory" southward to account for light snow accumulation under the cold core upper low moving through South Alabama. For most of Alabama, snow amounts will be one inch or less on grassy areas. A few spots have seen heavier totals earlier today, mainly in Sumter County near the Mississippi line.”
