Two Women Found Dead In Lake Tuscaloosa
Two women, ages 34 and 41, were found dead early Saturday morning in Lake Tuscaloosa. The victims have been identified as Liz Whipple and Shelly Darling.
The women were last seen on Friday morning, and reported missing by family members on Friday evening when one of the victims didn't return home for dinner.
Authorities initially found the women's belongings on a dock, but there was no sign of the women. Subsequently, a search was conducted on the lake, and at approximately 12:30am, the women's bodies were recovered near the 15000 block of West Winds Drive.
Authorities are saying that the deaths were accidental, and they believe that there are no signs of foul play.
Autopsies will be performed on Monday, by The Alabama Department Of Forensic Sciences, to find the official cause of death.
