As the month of January comes to an end, Alabama has had many sports come and go. Now with February one sleep away, the Tide has more sports to look forward to.

In this past month, football has come to pass, and gymnastics has kicked off. Basketball has kept a strong hold on the Crimson Tide fan base and Indoor track has started its race for the season. As January ends and February approaches, more sports are coming for the Tide fan base to root for. Crimson Tide Baseball and Softball are heating up and looking forward to great seasons.

Baseball's opening weekend in Sewell Thomas Stadium is February 18-20 against Xavier University. The Tide starts their season on a back-to-back, playing Jacksonville State at home two days later on the 22nd.

Softball hits the field in Tucson, Arizona on February 11th to compete against Southern Utah in the Candrea Classic to kick off their season. Following Southern Utah, they'll compete against Oregon State, the University of Arizona and the University of New Mexico. The Crimson Tide has a busy schedule as their home opener is on the 18th in the Easton Bama Bash, competing against the University of Evansville, Virginia Tech and Middle Tennessee.

For both teams, February is a big month, so make sure to get out and support the Tide. Alabama Softball will be aired on 97.5 FM, and stay tuned for information on how to broadcast the baseball games live.
