Pastor Anthony Isley Robinson, Sr. has been preaching since 1998 and has been ordained by The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod since 2013. He served as a Licensed Deacon while serving as pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Tuscaloosa, AL, for 10 years and was Colloquy Ordained by the Synodical Office of the Missouri Synod.
Pastor Robinson studied at Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, IN. He has served as pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, where he was ordained and installed, since 2004.
Pastor Robinson was born in Wilcox County, AL. He lived in Selma, AL for 30 years, while working at Concordia College- Selma and currently resides in Montgomery, AL. Pastor Robinson attended undergraduate school at Tuskegee Institute with graduate studies from Troy University in Montgomery, AL.
An effective communicator of God’s Word, Pastor Robinson is well known for his practical and dynamic teaching style which helps people apply the timeless truths of Holy Scripture to their everyday lives. He and his late wife, Patricia, were married for 30 years and are the proud parents of three adult children, Kimberly, Anthony, Jr., and Antorrie.
