The Tuscaloosa Heritage Festival continues throughout this weekend! Related events include crafts, a film challenge, a dance competition, and the Africana Film Festival.

According to the West Alabama Multicultural Alliance, the Tuscaloosa Heritage Festival is a celebration which promotes diversity and cultural sensitivity in the areas of film, music, and dance.

Tonight, a showcase of film, dance, and music will be held at the Tuscaloosa Career and Technology Academy. It will feature performances by Stillman College and University of Alabama choirs and dancers, Thomas Davis Jr, Blest by Four, Dancers 4 Life, Dancing Stars, and a step tease!

The Africana Film Festival will be held at the Bama Theater Saturday, February 3. The Children's Film Festival will begin at 3:00 p.m. with free admission. The Tuscaloosa Evening of African Film will begin at 6:30 p.m. Admission ranges $8-$15.
