Tuscaloosa County Homicide Statistics

Law enforcement agencies indicated that they investigated 15 homicides in Tuscaloosa County in 2015, a number that has remained consistent over the previous years.

It is reported that there were 15 homicides in 2014, 17 in 2013 and 11 in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

The Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit has successfully secured arrests in all 15 cases. According to authorities the first homicide of 2015 occurred on January 25, but an arrest was not made until September.
