Have fun and support the Tuscaloosa Belles at the annual Heritage 5K Costume Run through the downtown streets on Halloween morning!

If you aren't a serious runner, no problem, walkers are welcome. It's all about having fun, this includes the option to dress up in a costume!

The Tuscaloosa Belles, founded by the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society's own Alice McLean Stewart, is a service organization of young women enrolled in the eleventh and twelfth grades of high school in Tuscaloosa County. The Belles are nominated and sponsored by the Century Club of the Preservation Society.

Proceeds from the 5K support the Tuscaloosa Belles program and Scholarship Fund. Donations are greatly appreciated. From now until October 5th, the registration fee is $30 (with a t-shirt included). After then, the fee is $35.

Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top runners and best costumes.

The Tuscaloosa Belles Heritage 5K Costume Run starts and ends at the old Farmer's Market parking lot, which is at the intersection of Greensboro Avenue and Jack Warner Parkway in Tuscaloosa.
