During the second quarter of the afternoon matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears, the former Alabama defensive lineman and current run-stopper for the New York Jets, Quinnen "Q" Williams, made his debut commercial appearance alongside NFL Hall of Famer Peyton Manning.

In Tide laundry detergent's new ad campaign, "The First Clean Jersey Swap," Williams appears with a COVID-19-safe virtual version of the two-time Super Bowl champion and makes sure he can still trade jerseys with his fellow Alabama alumni who've also made it to the next level.

When Manning asks "Q": "Quinnen, are you in?" Williams made sure to clarify by namedropping a list of Crimson Tide NFL athletes, near-long enough to fill an entire roster.

Those mentioned in the advertisement by the young Jets star include (in order): Tua Tagovailoa (Miami), Derrick Henry (Tennessee), Reggie Ragland (Detroit), Minkah Fitzpatrick (Pittsburgh), Jerry Jeudy (Denver), Henry Ruggs III (Las Vegas), Julio Jones (Atlanta), AJ McCarron (Houston), JK Scott (Green Bay), Ronnie Harrison (Cleveland), and Daron Payne (Washington).

According to Tide:

"Tide and the NFL have teamed up for the first ever clean Jersey Swap - powered by the deep clean of new Tide Hygienic Clean. With a little additional help from Peyton Manning appearing as a Swap Bot (a robot version of Peyton), players are still able to swap jerseys with the other players they admire. Former teammates, college alums, and even rivals can carry on this longstanding tradition.

After the game, jerseys are collected by SwapBot and deep cleaned with Tide Hygienic Clean before being packaged and sent to their new owners. So far, over 300 NFL players have signed up to participate in the jersey swap."

During his short time in Tuscaloosa for Nick Saban's Crimson Tide, "Q" accounted for eight solo sacks and 25 tackles for a loss prior to winning the Outland Trophy. After an All-SEC 2019 season, the Birmingham, AL native was taken with the third overall pick by the New York Jets.
