Talladega Superspeedway to Host Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama’s Daisy’s Jam
The Girl Scouts will head “Back to Basics” at Talladega Superspeedway for the inaugural Daisy’s Jam, named after Girl Scouts founder Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low.
This event will have competitions in the areas associated with Girl Scouts - knot tying, orienteering, fire building, archery, outdoor cooking, camp site set up to name a few. Daisy’s Jam includes camping overnight for Girl Scouts of all ages at Talladega Superspeedway infield.
Here are the details:
- Saturday, November 21, 2015 – Opening Ceremonies begin at 8:30 am.
- Talladega Superspeedway Infield, East side of the Sprint Cup Garage.
- Parking is located directly in front of the Sprint Cup Garage.
- Troop Competitions begin at 9 am–3 pm.
