The National Weather Service has reported that we may see severe storms in portions of Central Alabama.

Severe weather threats are nothing new to Alabamians. Is it me, or does it seem like we get a new threat every week?

We are closely monitoring this potential for severe weather in our areas on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

Road closures, downed trees, and flooding reports were all over West and Central Alabama as a result of storms Tuesday evening.

As storms approach West Alabama, the Tuscaloosa County EMA sent out a warning regarding storm shelters in the area.
