Children as well as as adolescents do not have to be victims of violence to experience trauma. This trauma can have its origin from multiple sources, for example exposure to gang activity, witnessing a shooting or other violent crimes or the death of a friend or family member.
Another murder has happened in Birmingham. A man believed to be in his 40s had gone to a nearby store and was shot to death when he returned home.

Dominic Keeth, has been charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Tramone Mitchell. Mitchell was found shot inside a green 2006 BMW outside an apartment complex near the intersection of Cotton Avenue Southwest and 13th Street. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
It looks like every time I turn on the TV or log on the internet I’m reading about another teenager that’s been shot down by another teenager or a teenager committing murder robbery or some other type violent crime.

Hoover police received a 911 call about 12:31 a. m reporting shots fired at the Home Depot on U.S. Highway 280. When the officers arrived on scene they found 25-year-old Xavier Beasley lying in the parking with multiple gunshot wounds.
