Superior or Inferior?

Recently, I read that back in the 19th century, many scientific minds subscribed and ascribed to the notion that human populations are divided into separate races. This theory was used to explain the belief that some races were inferior to others, and that different treatment was justified. It is safe to say that you can term these theories as scientific racism. However, when these practices of treating certain groups in a preferential manner, or perhaps denying rights to particular groups based solely upon racial makeup, it became institutional racism.

This country has evolved into 2015 and this ugly problem is still with us. When will this stigma be erased from the landscape of this country?
