Join the fight against hunger by participating in the nation's largest food drive! Thousands of Americans will leave donations by their mailboxes as part of the National Association of Letter Carriers' "Stamp Out Hunger" campaign.

Donations collected from tomorrow's food drive will help those in need--whether its a family who is struggling to make ends meet or another family who's been displaced by a natural disaster. A few canned goods and boxes of food may not seem like much but when you add these donations up, that little bit of generosity makes a huge difference.

It's so easy to help those in need--all you have to do is place your donations by your mailbox. Participating letter carriers will collect these items and distribute them to local organizations.

The NALC suggests that you leave your donations in a sturdy bag by your mailbox. Please limit your donations to only non-perishable items like canned fruit or vegetables, soup, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, 100% juice, canned meat or fish, or macaroni and cheese. And don't forget: with over 175,000 letter carriers across the state working hard to deliver mail AND collect these donations, your mail may be delivered a little later than normal.
