The first Tuscaloosa Uncorked wine event will be held next weekend at the Bryant Conference Center on the campus of The University of Alabama.

The event begins with a 2.5-hour tasting and ends with a Presidential Dinner hosted by Hotel Capstone. The five-course meal will begin at 7PM and include the following:

FIRST COURSE

Summer Gazpacho with Basil and Rose Water

SECOND COURSE

Potato Latke, Smoke Salmon, Crème Fraich, brunoise of tomato and onion, fried caper

THIRD COURSE

Seared Petite Filet of Beef, Saffron Risotto Cake, Haircot vert and ciopolinni onions with a red wine, thyme Demi Glace

FOURTH COURSE

Duo Cheese Course

FIFTH COURSE

Chocolate Torte, Chantilly and Strawberry

Along with this incredible menu, there will be win pairings with each course from Hugel (France), JJ Vincent (France), Firesteed (Oregon), and Argyle (Oregon).

Tickets can be purchased for the tasting (5-7PM), for the dinner, or for the entire event. There is also a VIP option that gives patrons access to additional specialty wines. Here are all of the ticket details.

  • General admission tickets to the wine tasting will be $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
  • VIP Wine Tasting Tickets will be $30 in advance and $35 at the door (VIP will have an additional “velvet rope” section at the event that will include more specialty wines to taste).
  • Presidential VIP will be $85 (includes VIP admission into the wine festival as well as the dinner – these tickets are limited) - SOLD OUT
  • Dinner-only tickets are available at $65 - SOLD OUT
