Right or wrong?

Well I read in the news paper where a man in Athens; Ga was arrested for busting out a car window to get a dog out of a hot car.It says it would been ok if this was human that he saved.Well I just dont I am smart enough to figure this one out.I think the man should be rewarded for his deeds and efforts. Sure I know there is a differnce in a pet and human life but I just dont think he should have been arrested. What do you think?
