Progress With Speed By The Book . . .

You may be wondering just how long should one keep praying and believing God for the answer? Well, until He reveals to you differently. In short, go by the book! "Do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise" (Hebrews 10:35-36). You will find that many of the promises of God have timelines, and you need long-distance faith to receive them. The word endurance envisions a runner determined to reach the finish like. You may not know what the will of God is in your life, however, His will is revealed in His Word, and that's what you must believe and speak over your situation. Actually to say different is to contradict God. Abraham stood on God's promise that he'd be the father of many nations when there was not a shed of evidence to prove it. If you have read the story, you know that for some twenty years Abraham looked up into the night sky believing. The Lord indicated that Abraham's children would be as numerous as the stars. He did not know how the Lord was going to do it, but he had great faith. When one prays and maintain the faith as Abraham did you are in danger of appearing foolish in the eyes of others. But receiving the miraculous often involves looking foolish. This is sort of like when Jesus told the disciples to fill wine pots with water or rubbing clay in a blind man's eyes. But the guests at the wedding in Cana drank the finest wine, and the blind man ran home seeing. Why? Simply because they obeyed the word Jesus gave them. So the words for each of you today is: Progress With Speed By The Book.
