Nike Unveils Alabama’s College Football Playoff Uniform

For the second straight season, Alabama earned a trip to the College Football Playoffs and will face Michigan State on New Years Eve. Shortly after the four teams were announced, Nike unveiled the playoff uniforms for each school.

As you an see above, the Crimson Tide doesn't change much from the traditional look. Nike has added a diamond swoosh to the jersey, but you won't notice much else.

The company gave a few details in a release:

The Clemson Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Michigan State Spartans and Oklahoma Sooners will all wear Nike Mach Speed uniforms during the College Football Playoff, each featuring a fractal diamond Swoosh on the front of the jersey and pant.

Players will also debut new Nike Football Vapor Jet 4.0 gloves, which were tested extensively at all levels and help maximize catching ability, fit and breathability.

Alabama will be the No. 2 seed in the playoff after winning the school's 25th SEC Championship on Saturday night.
