One of Tuscaloosa's favorite local restaurant's Oasis bar-and-grill has come back strong After temporarily shutting down due to the death of the owner Jr Hall.

We received this note from Jr's wife Lindy Hall after Jr Halls passing.

"I would like to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers & outpouring of love in this hard time with the loss of my beloved husband, Jr. Hall. The Oasis will reopen very soon, I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding in this trying time." Lindy Hall. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Personally, I couldn't be any happier The Oasis bar-and-grill is open and doing well. I pray they continue making the best cheeseburger in the state for a long long time to come.

Recently The Oasis bar-and-grill posted about a new food challenge they have available at the resturant.

"We have the Bear Challenge & I'm itchin for a 1st customer to try it! Oasis in Cottondale So I'll personally pay for it for the 1st person to come do it! If you finish it you'll still get the Tshirt! If you dont finish it I'll pay for it!

(Bear Challenge is: Quadruple Cheeseburger with all the fixings... loaded fries & a softdrink. (Thats four of these put together)
