Williams pulled over and the officer reported smelling the strong odor of marijuana emanating from his vehicle.

Williams was allegedly traveling with 12 pounds of the controlled substance -- the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force was called to the scene and their agents say they found two large bags of marijuana sitting on top of a suitcase in the backseat plus ten more bags inside the luggage.

Each bag weighed a pound and has a street value of around $2,000. Police also said they found a single oxycodone pill in Williams' vehicle and arrested him for trafficking marijuana, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and failure to affix a tax stamp.

Williams, who is listed in court documents as a resident of Pine Hill, Alabama was placed in the Tuscaloosa County Jail Saturday, where his bond was set at $530,000.

Williams is longer listed in the jail's inmate database, which may indicate he has been released from custody.
