Single-Vehicle Crash Involving Commercial Truck Closes I-20E/59N in Tuscaloosa County

UPDATE, 8:30: All lanes are clear. 

A lane of traffic is blocked on Interstate 20/59 in Tuscaloosa County on Tuesday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle.

Sergeant Reginal King said the crash happened at approximately 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

A commercial vehicle crashed and has closed the left northbound lane of I-59 / east bound lane of I-20. The lane closure is near mile marker 59, around the Ralph area.

King said the closure will last for an undetermined amount of time.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division are on scene investigating and will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.
