A 25-year-old man has been located and arrested and will be charged with capital murder after he allegedly shot a woman to death early Thursday morning in Tuscaloosa.

Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the multi-agency Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said TPD officers were called to a traffic crash on 15th Street under the Interstate 359 overpass bridge around 3 a.m. Thursday.

The VCU was called out and took over the investigation, and Kennedy said they have spent the day collecting physical evidence, obtaining video surveillance and interviewing several witnesses.

All that has led police to develop 25-year-old Ladarious Jaquan Bullock as a suspect - Kennedy said Bullock was located and taken into custody somewhere outside of Tuscaloosa County Thursday. Court records list him as a resident of Boligee, Alabama in neighboring Greene County.

Kennedy said warrants have been obtained to charge Bullock with Capital Murder for McIntosh's death, and her homicide marks the 10th investigated in Tuscaloosa County so far this year.

The VCU said their investigation is ongoing as of Thursday afternoon - stay connected to the Tuscaloosa Thread for additional details as they are released.
