A family-friendly fall festival that celebrates local retailers and benefits a critically important nonprofit organization will return to Tuscaloosa's Midtown Village this Friday.

In a press release to local media, the shopping center's owners and operators said their well-loved Harvest Jam at Midtown Village will once again set up in the green space at the heart of Midtown.

Patrons can expect a craft beer tasting, live music, pop-up vendors, activities for children and more, and all that fun is for a great cause. Proceeds raised during the Harvest Jam will benefit Tuscaloosa's Child Abuse Prevention Services and their mission to prevent the mistreatment of children.

The one-night-a-year autumnal celebration will kick off the Friday, October 6th, at 5:30 p.m. and wrap up at 8.

Organizers for the event said attendees can expect a wide variety of vendors, including the following.

Kids attending the event can enjoy a complimentary photo booth, caricature artists, and
a bounce house.

“We’ve been incredibly pleased with the positive reception of the events at Midtown Village,” said Hollyann Bemis, marketing associate for Crawford Square Real Estate Advisors. “Harvest Jam will not only provide the community with something fun and festive this fall but will also benefit an organization that does so much for our children in Tuscaloosa.”

Bemis also said Midtown Village will also have its own tent set up where attendees can grab an exclusive shopping pass for retailers located there and a $5 beer-tasting ticket to try craft beers provided by Adams Beverages, with all proceeds donated to CAPS.
