Family and law enforcement are trying to find a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Tuesday.
In a post to Facebook, the police department said the missing teen, Mariah Mason, has not been in touch with her family in 48 hours, and law enforcement confirmed Friday morning that she is still missing after a day of searching.
Mason, 14, is described as five feet tall and weighing around 100 pounds. She has brown, straight hair and brown eyes.
Police said she was last known to be in the area of Westlee Estates not far from Palmore Park, but could be spending time in the Sahama Village neighborhood.
