Victory At Bryant Denny Had Nothing To Do With The Scoreboard
When I saw this “Facebag” post, I knew I had to share it with you. It was posted by “Facebag” friend Megan Dennis.

Today at the Alabama/Mississippi State game, I witnessed something I don’t think I’ll ever forget.
An older gentleman started talking to a young man sitting behind me. He asked where he was from, what he wanted to do when he got older, and the young man told him he was in high school, played football, and hoped to continue playing after high school.
Then the man asked him, “ Do you know Jesus?” The young man answered, “No, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot.”
The man asked him what was holding him back, and he said, “I don’t know what to do.”
Right there in the stands, surrounded by thousands of people at a football game, I watched this young man close his eyes and pray. I watched the tears come. I watched the older gentleman stand up with him and tell everyone around us what had just happened.
And then I heard that young man turn to his friend and say “I just accepted Christ”.
What a testimony this young man already has. I pray he takes what happened tonight and shares the Gospel with his friends, teammates, and everyone God places in his path.
But tonight also made me stop and think. How many people do we pass every single day who don’t know Jesus? How many are thinking about Him, wondering, or simply waiting on someone to tell them what to do?
Four simple words opened the door to change someone’s eternity
“Do you know Jesus?”
What a blessing it was to witness this today. The biggest victory in that stadium had absolutely nothing to do with the scoreboard.
Thank you, Megan Dennis, for sharing this inspirational story.
I’m hopeful many readers will share this with others.
