Through the adoption of digital technologies like mobile ordering and loyalty programs, and regional and international cuisine choices these companies continue to expand at a rapid pace.

Rooted in East Hollywood, Dave’s is best known for its Nashville style hot chicken. In the past year Dave’s nearly doubled its sales, reaching $406 million across 260 locations. The chain also plans to expand to around 1000 future locations with plans to open around 80 locations this year.

Coming in at 4th on the list is Culver’s. Best known for its ButterBurgers and fresh frozen custard, rated best restaurant in America by Fodors, it grew from 900 to 997 locations by the start of 2025. The brand’s reputation for high-quality fast food keeps customers loyal to them. 

 

Jersey Mike’s Subs

At 6 on the list is Jersey Mike’s Subs, a major name in the sandwich scene and one of the fastest growing quick service restaurant chains in the country. This year it ranked second on Entrepreneur's list of top QSR franchises, with almost 3,000 locations and a 45% growth of the past three years. Known for it’s fresh ingredients and signature “Mike’s Way” sandwich style, the brand has built a strong following. 

You can expect to see at least one new location of one of these places within this year if you keep an eye out for them. They all have plans to expand into new territory this year.
