BREAKING: USDA Warns Of Contaminated Sausage In Alabama
Well now that Christmas is over, we prayed the recalls were also…well, unfortunately, they are not. This recall affects everyone! Anyone who eats is affected! What kind of recall would affect everyone you ask? Well, keep reading to find out.
It’s a type of food! We all eat, and during this time of year, we dieters also like to splurge when it comes to food. I know that I could not resist some of the dishes that were served to me during the holidays.
From breakfast to the midnight snacks, I was completely unable to say no thank you! So now the product we need to be concerned about is sausage! Yes, there is a recall for sausage! Sunset Farm Foods Inc, located in Valdosta Georgia, is recalling the Georgia Special Chicken and Pork Smoked Sausage.
Why is this product being recalled? Well, the sausage may contain small thin blue strips of plastic. Yes, plastic pieces!! The contaminated sausage product was shipped to stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina! There haven’t been any reports of injuries, thankfully, but eating strips of plastic can not be healthy.
So now we not only have to check for recalls on the toys children that Santa delivered, now we have to check our food. So please check your fridge and freezers to make sure you do not have the product in your home. What should you do if you find that you have the product in your home? Return it to the store for a refund. Please do not eat it!!
