Alabama Town Listed as One of the Top Off-Season Destinations

Alabama has a lot to offer tourists. In 2022, the Yellowhammer State had a record-breaking surge of visitors. Lee Sentell, the state tourism director said that “more than 28.6 million visitors made Alabama their travel destination in 2022.”

From the financial perspective, in 2022, it is estimated that travelers contributed $22.4 billion to Alabama's economy, reflecting a notable growth of 13.8 percent compared to the spending recorded in 2021, said the Alabama Tourism Department.

Now, Alabama even reigns supreme in the off-season. According to Love Exploring, an Alabama town joins a list of towns that are perfect in the off-season as well. They selected these destinations because of their busy nature and what the town has to offer tourists like “culture, natural beauty, atmosphere or all three.”

These well-traveled locations do have an off-season and Love Exploring has named several southern locations to have the “best off-season.”
