The Georgia Bulldogs are back where they expect to be - atop the SEC standings. Georgia was scared by the Florida Gators, with it being a tied football game with just under six minutes left in the contest. However, Georgia got a 34-20 win over the Florida Gators. The Bulldogs will travel to Oxford, Mississippi for a road test against the Ole Miss Rebels on November 9.

2 - Texas A&M Aggies (7-2, 5-1)

The Aggies fell to the South Carolina Gamecocks 44-20 in a monumental game for the Gamecocks. Texas A&M suffered their first conference loss of the season, knocking them from atop the rankings. The Aggies are on a bye week this week to recollect before a home bout against the New Mexico State Aggies on November 16.

3 - Tennessee Volunteers (7-1, 4-1)

The Tennessee Volunteers were threatened in the first half against the Kentucky Wildcats but got the job done in a 28-18 victory. Tennessee will host the Mississippi State Bulldogs this weekend on November 9 in a tune-up game before a road trip to Athens, Georgia.

4 - LSU Tigers (6-2, 3-1)

5 - Texas Longhorns (7-1, 3-1)

The Alabama Crimson Tide spent November 2 on a bye week following a 34-0 victory over the Missouri Tigers on homecoming. Alabama will hit the road to Baton Rouge for a do-or-die game for the Crimson Tide against the LSU Tigers.

Florida gave it their best shot, but ultimately, the loss of now-starting quarterback DJ Lagway was too much for the Gators to overcome despite being tied with Georgia with less than six minutes left in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. The Gators fell to the Bulldogs 34-20. Florida will now travel to Austin, Texas for a matchup with the Texas Longhorns on November 9.

13 - Oklahoma Sooners (5-4, 1-4)

Oklahoma thrashed non-conference opponent Maine in a 59-14 snoozefest in Norman. The Sooners will now hit the road for an old rivalry game, taking on the Missouri Tigers on November 9.

14 - Auburn Tigers (3-6, 1-5)

The Auburn Tigers were the latest victim of the Vanderbilt hype train, falling to the Commodores 17-7 in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Auburn will get a week to reflect on a lackluster performance at home before returning to action on November 16 against UL-Monroe.

15 - Kentucky Wildcats (3-6, 1-6)

The Kentucky Wildcats could not get the job done on Saturday against the Tennessee Volunteers, falling in Knoxville 28-18. Kentucky returns to Lexington on a bye week before returning to play against Murray State on November 16.

16 - Mississippi State Bulldogs (2-7, 0-5)

Mississippi State picked up its second win of the season in a 45-20 drubbing of UMass. The Bulldogs will face one of the toughest teams in the SEC, Tennessee, on the road on November 9.

If the season ended today, the Georgia Bulldogs would play the Texas A&M Aggies in the SEC Championship game. The SEC Championship is played in Atlanta Georgia.
