TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama left tackle Kadyn Proctor has played his fair share of games against the Georgia Bulldogs, starting at left tackle during the 2023 SEC championship, the 2024 regular season, and this past September, when Alabama defeated Georgia 24-21 in Athens, Georgia, snapping the Bulldogs' 33-game home win streak, dating back to 2019.

Despite his familiarity with the Bulldogs, Proctor isn't expecting the same Georgia team that he lined up against a few months ago.

"I mean, just the rushers, I see that their moves are a little different," Proctor said on Tuesday. "You know, they're definitely working on that. And they're really good, you know what I'm saying? As I said, you get better from when we played them week four, and this is week 13 or 14. Like everybody's going to be a different player. So I know they're going to come out, starting hot, and they're a really good defense."

Proctor played alongside Dewberry for a full game for the first time during Saturday's 27-20 victory in the Iron Bowl, with the Crimson Tide opting to use the same five offensive linemen for the majority of the game. Center Parker Brailsford rotated with Geno VanDeMark while Brailsford dealt with his lower-body injury during the game.

Proctor said his communication was better during the game since he played alongside Dewberry for the full Iron Bowl.

"I feel like it did, especially with it being a loud environment," Proctor said on Tuesday, talking about the communication with the same players on the field. "I feel like that was the biggest emphasis on me. I gotta talk to Kam [Dewberry], you know, for everything to be OK. So I feel like that was a good thing. Like, you can go back to my first or second year talking to [Tyler Booker], like we just have to build that conversation and build that camaraderie throughout that. So I feel like that was, it was a good thing to go through."
