Alabama will add another wide receiver to the ranks of the NFL, with Jermaine Burton announcing that he is declaring for the 2024 NFL draft.

Burton was a transfer from Georgia following the 2022 season. He played two seasons for the Crimson Tide, tallying 79 receptions for 1,475 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns during his time at Alabama.

During his career at both Alabama and Georgia, Burton had 132 receptions for 2,376 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Burton will join the ranks of Crimson Tide wide receivers in the NFL, joining Jerry Jeudy, Amari Cooper, Julio Jones, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Jameson Williams, Cam Sims, and John Metchie III.

Alabama won't be hurting for wide receiver depth, however. Isaiah Bond, arguably Alabama's top option this season, will be returning to Alabama along with Kobe Prentice, Kendrick Law, Jalen Hale, and several others. Alabama also brought in Amari Jefferson, Rico Scott, and Aeryn Hampton in its 2024 recruiting class.

The Crimson Tide might not be done with wide receivers either, with current 2024 commit Ryan Williams expected to sign on February 9th, his birthday. Williams has been committed to Alabama since October 10, 2022.
