Info and Schedule: NCAA Softball’s 2023 Tuscaloosa Regional
The Alabama Crimson Tide softball team is participating in its 24th-consecutive NCAA Tournament after receiving the No. 5 seed in the selection show on Sunday.
Aside from an abbreviated 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2023 marks the Tide's 18th-consecutive hosted regional appearance at Rhoads Stadium.
Montana Fouts:
The team's fifth-year ace, right-hander Montana Fouts, is apparently "day-to-day" according to an interview this week with longtime Alabama coach Patrick Murphy.
She suffered an ankle injury in the team's SEC Tournament loss to Arkansas on Thursday, May 11, and it's unclear if she'll play in the regional.
