The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship this Saturday, December 6. The Crimson Tide defeated Georgia 24-21 in September, snapping Georgia's 33-game home win streak. Alabama saw success on offense in the first half and clinched the game on a fourth-down pass from Ty Simpson to Jam Miller.

The Crimson Tide totaled 397 yards in the game, with 280 coming through the air. Alabama saw a prolific attack from quarterback Ty Simpson, who had 288 total yards and three total touchdowns. Georgia has been itching for the chance to get back at Alabama, and during Monday's teleconference with Bulldogs linebackers Raylen Wilson and CJ Allen, the Bulldogs expressed confidence in Georgia's ability to make adjustments from the first matchup with Alabama.

"I feel like we learned about just how their offense likes to attack us," Georgia linebacker Raylen Wilson said. They have a pretty mobile quarterback. He's a good thrower. I mean, they're a pretty balanced offense.

"I feel like [Ty Simpson] is more athletic than people give him credit for."

Georgia linebacker CJ Allen also praised Ty Simpson during his media availability during Monday's teleconference.

"I think just get the offense in the right call, being able to make those throws down the field, coverage in tight windows, being able to extend plays with his legs," Allen said.

"That's something I definitely think about," Allen said about wanting to beat Alabama. "It's crazy you ask that because I actually talked to my mom last night on the phone about a team I haven't beaten in the SEC Championship.

"Guys just want to win this game, period, no matter who we're playing. Definitely, I think guys feel the same way in terms of wanting to beat them," Allen said.

Neither CJ Allen nor Raylen Wilson were on Georgia's roster for the last time the Bulldogs beat the Crimson Tide in the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship.

Alabama will face Georgia in the SEC Championship on Saturday, December 6. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. CT.
