Recruiting is always extremely fluid. Many people say it's all about relationships.

Alabama will have its work cut out for them to convince several top recruits in the 2025 class to stay committed or re-commit to the Crimson Tide.

The process is already starting for Alabama with de-commitments. 2025 five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench has de-committed from the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Ffrench is the second five-star wide receiver to de-commit from Alabama since the retirement of former head coach Nick Saban. Both wide receivers committed to Alabama when the Crimson Tide still had coach Saban and wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins.

Ffrench will be returning to Alabama on January 20 for a visit with the new coaching staff, but the timing of the news is strange. 2024 five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams will also join Ffrench at Alabama on January 20.

New head coach Kalen DeBoer's offense is highly tailored to the wide receivers and quarterbacks, with Coach DeBoer telling media on Saturday his offense will be "quarterback driven."

DeBoer produced two 1,000-yard wide receivers at Washington and brought almost that whole offensive staff with him to Alabama. The success is not enough though, he'll have to develop a relationship with recruits.
