VIDEO: Funny Moment Between Clashing SEC Coaches on Coaches Call
Much has been made about Kalen Deboer's record at Alabama when wearing his signature back hoodie on the sideline compared to other articles of clothing. DeBoer's wardrobe became a big discussion point among Alabama fans after he wore a t-shirt on the sideline of Alabama's 40-35 loss to Vanderbilt last season.

Since DeBoer went back to wearing the hoodie full-time, Alabama is undefeated, with wins over ULM, Wisconsin, No. 5 Georgia, and No. 16 Vanderbilt this season. DeBoer's use of a black hoodie on game days is not a new trend, with him often sporting it on the sidelines during his days at Washington.
On Wednesday, Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz ended his time on the SEC coaches call, asking if he could ask Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer a question during his time on the SEC coaches call (Drinkwitz goes on at 11:20, while DeBoer speaks at 11:30). It was a funny moment from the Tigers' head coach to the media, until Chuck Dunlap (the moderator of the call and representative of the SEC) said the next question was coming from Missouri head coach Eli Drinkwitz.
Drinkwitz, in his typical hilarious banter, jumped on the call and asked Deboer if he was going to wear the "black hoodie of death" on Saturday since Missouri is wearing black jerseys for the game against Alabama.
Both coaches chuckled at the question before DeBoer gave his answer.
"I gotta fit in somehow," DeBoer joked. "More than likely. We'll see what the forecast says. I kinda know, but I'm expecting that. It's got kinda a life of its own right now."
Drinkwitz fired right back, "That's the only question I needed to find out today."
Matt Stahl of AL.com recorded the interaction between the two.
Alabama will travel to Missouri, presumably with DeBoer wearing his "black hoodie of death", on Saturday, October 11, to take on the Missouri Tigers. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
