The 2024 Alabama Football in full is finally out. Next year, the SEC not only add Texas and Oklahoma but is transitioning networks to ESPN/ABC. To kick off a new era of SEC football, every team has to play either the Longhorns or the Sooners.

According to 247 Sports, Alabama has the second-hardest schedule of all SEC teams only behind the Flordia Gators. To be honest, though, no team in the SEC has an easy schedule. Each team in the SEC will be battle-tested by the end of the year due to how good each team in the conference is.

The big matchups of the year are mostly on the road (Wisconsin, Tennessee, LSU, Oklahoma) but there are a few really good games at home next year. The biggest game of the year for Alabama is an SEC Championship rematch against Georgia. The Bulldogs will be traveling to Tuscaloosa for the first time since 2020. Another huge matchup at Bryant Denny Stadium will be the Missouri Tigers traveling to Tuscaloosa. Missouri this year was ranked No.9 and has become one of the surprise teams of the SEC.

The second main point from the 2024 SEC schedule is each team gets two bye weeks. This is due to College Football transitioning into a 14-week sport. For Alabama, the SEC gave the team a bye on the best weeks. The two Alabama bye weeks will be on Sept. 21 before their matchup against Georgia and Nov. 2 before the game at LSU.

The schedule may seem way harder than this year for Alabama but no matter who the SEC puts in front of the team, they will be ready.
