A Huntsville church bus was involved in a serious two-car accident near Atlanta on Thursday afternoon that killed one person and left more than a dozen people injured.

The bus was from Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was carrying 11th and 12th graders along with adults when it collided with another vehicle and overturned. Fulton County Police said 38 people were traveling on the bus, which was on its way to the Atlanta airport according to this post on the church's Facebook page.

PRAY! One of the buses with the student ministry mission had an accident on the way to the Atlanta airport. Several serious injuries. Please pray for those injured and parents as they travel to Atlanta.

The accident happened on Camp Creek Parkway, which leads straight to the airport from I-20.

Here's a photo that the Atlanta Journal-Constitution shared from the scene.

We will update this story as more details emerge.
