I knew the COVID-19 would bring out all of the crazy marketing ideas. Businesses are trying everything but this might actually work.

At this point, I've seen every kind of facemask I could imagine. Sports teams, colleges, schools, and designer face masks. Well, now Hormel has changed the game with a bacon-scented face mask! No games! They have created a face mask that smells just like bacon and bacon lovers everywhere have a chance to take home this new mask.

This is definitely something that I never thought would happen, but I'm not mad at it. Think about it-- who doesn't love the smell of bacon?

It's safe to say that companies will do just about anything to market a product, but there is always someone who will bite. I'm just wondering what's next. What if someone created a food mask where you could taste your food of preference? Imagine a pizza-flavored face mask that tasted just like your favorite slice of pizza. Ohhhh what about a candied yam or smoked brisket face mask?!

I think I'm getting too excited about this. I'll just stick with my basic face mask to stay safe out in these streets.
