We could experience another afternoon into evening hours with the potential for severe weather. The Storm Prediction Center has our listening areas in a “marginal risk” area. Also, the National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook into this evening. The counties involved with the Hazardous Weather Outlook covers our Townsquare Media Radio Stations listening areas. Of course, we will keep you informed of any weather messages throughout the day. We should see a decrease in intensity as we head into the evening hours as we phase out of daytime heating. According to the National Weather Service noted that “Isolated severe storms are possible this afternoon and evening across all of Central Alabama. Damaging winds up to 60 mph and quarter size hail will be the main threats with any stronger storms.”
I know that we have a good amount of our listeners that commute for their work and other situations, so I wanted you to be aware of all the counties affected by the Hazardous Weather Outlook.
