Pastor Stephen E. Boyd, affectionately known as the “Professor of Praise,” is a multifaceted leader in Gospel ministry, serving as an author, speaker, church planter, musician, producer, singer, and songwriter. A third-generation preacher who committed to Christ at nine, Boyd is dedicated to spreading the Gospel and empowering people worldwide through the Great Commission. With a rising influence in both national and international ministry, his mission is to help ordinary people experience the transformative power of God.

He has recently released his "Wonder In My Soul" Chronicles of My Country Church Volume 1 to all digital outlets and to national radio.

Boyd’s recent single, Heal The Land, quickly climbed the charts, recognized twice in under ten weeks on the Billboard Gospel Indicator Most Added list, alongside well-known Gospel artists like Tamela Mann, Marvin Sapp, and J.J. Hairston. It has also been featured on Dr. Bobby Jones Presents, Indie Artist Now 30 for 30 with Lady Bell, and DJ Ms. Electric’s Mixtape. Inspired in 2019 during a moment of reflection at a stoplight, Boyd’s prayer, “God, we need you to heal the land,” led to the creation of this impactful song and later inspired the Heal The Land Xperience, an event blending his 25+ years as an acclaimed music educator with his ministry work. During the pandemic, Boyd took the virtual stage with gospel artists such as Tamika Patton, Lisa Stevenson, Jerad Woods, Ben Tankard, Darrius Twyman, and Stellar Award-winning radio host Tracy Morgan.

As a passionate educator, Boyd’s teaching reaches beyond traditional settings. In 2014, he founded SB Entertainment, LLC, an educational consulting firm dedicated to supporting K-12 teachers in classroom management and student engagement. Through SB Entertainment, Boyd travels nationally as a motivational speaker and trainer, addressing the unique needs of educators.

Boyd also serves as CEO of SB Entertainment, where he hosts the Stephen Boyd Radio Show on KSDE Radio and travels as a gospel recording artist with RevNation, led by music industry mogul Denise Tichenor-Davis. His dynamic presence has been featured on the Wake-Up Morning Show with Dr. Lt and Robert Earl Dean, Envision Magazine Sunday Sit Down with Auntie G, WBTC Radio, WDIH Radio with Bishop George, and Pastor Mandel Copeland.

Educationally accomplished, Pastor Boyd holds a B.A. in Music Education from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, an Associate and Bachelor of Ministry degree from the World College of Theology, and a Master’s in School Leadership from Wilmington University. He is married to the love of his life, who supports his dedication to ministry, education, and music.
