Gas Prices In Alabama Drop, See What’s Going Up

Gas prices may be dropping but your power bill is set to go up.

Alabama Power has filed for a rate increase that will cost the typical customer $6.78 a month starting January 1, 2015

The increase will cover increased cost.  One third of the increased cost is from upgrades to coal fired power plants to meet environmental regulations.  Read more at al.com
