
Ex-Chief Convicted.
Federal prosecutors say a former Alabama police chief has been convicted of selling ammunition to a man who was in the country illegally.
Authorities said in a statement Monday that former Franklin police chief M. C.ran a side business from his home, while he work as a police chief.The former chief faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine and three years of supervised release.
