Downtown Tuscaloosa Restaurant Closes After Two Employees Test Positive for COVID-19
One of downtown Tuscaloosa's most beloved local restaurants has been forced to shut its doors temporarily.
FIVE Tuscaloosa made the announcement via a post to Facebook on Saturday, June 27th. Two of the restaurant's staff members tested positive for the novel Coronavirus, and management has made the difficult decision to suspend operations to ensure the safety of other employees and restaurant customers.
FIVE Tuscaloosa plans to fully sanitize their facility and test all employees for COVID-19 before they are allowed to return to work. Management says they look forward to being able to reopen soon.
