Well known civil rights activist  Amelia Boynton Robinson passed awaw in  Montgomery;; Ala at the age of 104. She was the first black woman to run for congress and she was a warrior in the civil rights field. She was severly beaten during the Selma to Montgomery march in 1965.More recently she marched across the Edmund Pettus bridge in her wheelchair holding hands with President Barak Obama. She certainly paid her dues to society. Thanks  for everything sister Robinson. Now rest IN PEACE.
