City Provides Home Builders Info

The City of Tuscaloosa's Office of Federal Programs is hosting a program to assist licensed home builders obtain information regarding the City of Tuscaloosa's signature residential rehabilitation program. The Homebuilder's Introduction to City Wide Emergency Home Repair Program will be held Thursday, August 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Council Chamber on the 2nd floor of the Tuscaloosa City Hall at 2201 University Blvd; Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.

Topics to be covered include bidding, federal requirements, phases of construction, contractor responsibilities, financial management, ethics, and training and employment initiatives. For more information, contact the Office of Federal Programs at 205-248-5080.
