Thursday, November 3, is National Sandwich Day, and Subway is honoring the occasion in a really special way: you've got a chance to score a FREE sub and help fight hunger in our communities by supporting The Good Deed Feed for Feeding America!

Everyone loves Subway--you can't go wrong with a fresh, delicious sub sandwich or (my fave) one of their soft and chewy cookies. Subway's a perfect fit for celebrating National Sandwich Day, and I think it's super cool that they've created a campaign that's focused on giving back.

When you purchase a sub and drink at Subway, you'll get another sub (of equal or lesser value) for free! Bring a friend with you to Subway--or bring back your favorite sub to share with a co-worker.

Subway isn't stopping there: for every sub and drink sold on National Sandwich Day, Subway will donate a meal to Feeding America. They have a goal of making National Sandwich Day the largest meal donation day in the history of Feeding America with at least 11 MILLION meals given away--awesome, right?

I think I'll share my free sub with my co-workers. I had to take the day off Monday to be with my family--my grandfather was in the hospital after an accident. My work family stepped up to help me in my time of need and went out of their way to ensure that everything behind the scenes at the station ran smoothly. I'll have to load up on Subway sandwiches for the whole Townsquare crew so I can use my 'Good Deed Feed' to say thanks!

How will you share your 'Good Deed Feed?' Don't forget to post your photos on social media with the hashtag #GoodDeedFeed!
