Patrick Murphy earns his 1,100th win at Alabama
Alabama softball coach Patrick Murphy won his 1,100th game in a 5-0 win over Louisville in Game 1 of a Sunday doubleheader. Murphy started as an assistant for the Crimson Tide back in 1996 before being promoted to head coach in 1999.

Today, on national signing day, Alabama landed the commitment of 5-star safety Terrion Arnold. Arnold, a native of Tallahassee, Florida is the No. 2 ranked safety and No. 25 ranked player overall according to 247Sports. The two-sport standout chose Alabama over offers from Georgia and Florida.
