The University of Alabama's homecoming football game will mean a lot more than parades and parties in 2015. The school announced this week that SEC West foe Arkansas will be this year's opponent on October 10.

After two years of filling that spot with a non-conference team, the Crimson Tide will host a surging Razorbacks squad that won three of its final four games in 2014. That included shutouts against LSU and Ole Miss.

Game time and the event schedule will be announced at a later day, but there are a few things we already know. First, this game will be sandwiched between road games at Georgia and Texas A&M. Second, Bret Bielema's team will have revenge on its mind after suffering eight straight losses in the series.

The last time Alabama played an SEC team on homecoming was a 38-7 win over Mississippi State in 2012.
