Alabama Minister Lorenza Jones Releases “Set Free”

Birmingham's Minister Lorenza Jones has heart for music and the gospel and has released his newest release nationally "Set Free" Lorenza Eljaye Jones, was born to the late Rev. Willis H. Jones Sr., and the late Sis. Matilda Lewis Jones. From a family of ten children, Lorenza being the six-child started out singing in his father’s church and playing the drums as well.

As time moved on Lorenza branched out and begin to sing in different venues across the world, he also cut his first song that received lots of airplay called “Shake Your Booty!’ That song brought great attention and it expanded his career to the stage of acting in a Broadway Play called “Stop The Noise Bring Back The Music" at the Beacon Theater of New York City.

After that season of performing on Broadway, Lorenza started touring with such acts as “Peabo Bryson, Anita Baker, Bobby Womack, the Late Geraid Levert, Marvin Sease, and truly a host of others.

But in 2000, Lorenza was called into the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to sing a new song and to deliver another message. He recorded his first gospel singles entitled “It’s All About You Jesus" and “You Don’t Have Nothing Without Jesus’

And now here in 2023, he has a new full CD release entitled "Set Free" is being release to all radio stations, under the record label Constantine Records.

His music is a balance of R&B sounds with lyrics that is clear and cut for the message of Christ, for the young at heart, and mature alike. He is true Trailblazer of Praise.
