Who got an Instant Pot for Christmas? This Girl Did!

Just call me Mary “Instant Pot” K. I thought I loved my air fryer. Now, I am in a whole full-on relationship with my Instant Pot. I’m at the point where I feel I’m going to name it. Do you have any suggestions?

My friend Kim came over on New Year’s Eve with her Instant Pot. Honestly, I told her I was super nervous about using it because of the steam and pressure. But, she magically glammed me (HBO True Blood reference) into the ways of Instant Pot!

We made collard greens in 17 minutes and non-soaked black-eyed peas in 18 minutes. Not to brag, they were excellent too. Sign me up for more. That afternoon of December 31st, we were at Wal-Mart, and I got the last 3 quart Instant Pot. I felt like I accomplished something that day.
