Alabama Department of Public Health Receives First Report of COVID-19 Related Death in Tuscaloosa County
The latest data from the Alabama Department of Public Health shows the agency has now received its first report of a death from the novel Coronavirus within Tuscaloosa County.
The death has not been officially confirmed by the ADPH; the agency shows one reported death in Tuscaloosa County with no reports of "died from illness." 113 Alabamians have now lost their lives as a result of COVID-19, and the ADPH also notes it has now received reports of 157 deaths within Alabama.
There are 4,888 confirmed cases of COVID-19 across the state with 145 confirmed cases in Tuscaloosa County.
